NaviNichi, Inc. (hereinafter, the “Company”) hereby publishes its policy on promoting digital transformation (DX) through the use of digital technology, in accordance with the intent of the “Digital Governance Code” of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), as set out below. As a business that itself develops and provides an “AI platform dedicated to the foreign-national inclusion domain,” the Company will make the fullest possible use of digital technology in both its own management and its services.
01Management Vision and Business Model
Under the vision of “Redefining how Japan welcomes foreign residents, with AI,” the Company places at the core of its business the provision of an AI infrastructure that connects the foreign nationals who study, work, and live in Japan with the schools, companies, government, and communities that host them. We build a business model that, through AI, structures dispersed and increasingly complex information on residency and daily life into a form usable for decision-making, thereby contributing to greater productivity in supporting foreign nationals and in host operations.
02DX Strategy
To realize the management vision above, in addition to advancing our own products (services for foreign nationals, business SaaS for schools and companies, and the like), the Company actively adopts cloud services and AI tools in its internal operations as well, promoting data-driven decision-making and the automation and streamlining of work.
Development of IT Systems and the Digital-Technology Environment
The IT systems that form our business foundation are built primarily on a cloud-native architecture that emphasizes scalability, security, and data integration, and we continuously develop and renew them while leveraging external integrations such as government APIs.
03Promotion Structure and Organization
Under the leadership of management, the Company builds a company-wide structure to promote DX. The functions of product development, AI research, and business development work in coordination to advance transformation from both the technology and the business sides.
04Developing and Securing Talent
The Company continuously works to secure and develop the digital talent needed to promote DX (product development, AI/machine learning, data utilization, and so on), and, through the provision of learning opportunities, seeks to raise the digital literacy of the organization as a whole.
05Indicators for Measuring Achievement of the Strategy
The Company sets indicators to measure the degree of achievement of its DX strategy and reviews their progress on a regular basis. Using service usage, the number of adopting institutions, and the effects of operational efficiency as key indicators, we continuously evaluate their relationship to business outcomes.
06Measures Concerning Cybersecurity
In promoting DX, the Company positions ensuring information security — its underlying premise — as an important management issue, and takes measures grounded in METI’s “Cybersecurity Management Guidelines” and related standards. Specific initiatives are as set out in the Information Security Policy.
07Communication to Stakeholders
The Company continuously communicates the progress of this policy and of its DX initiatives to customers, business partners, and society through this website and other channels.
